{"id":5032,"date":"2026-11-04T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kyotofusioneering.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=5032"},"modified":"2026-11-04T09:27:19","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T00:27:19","slug":"kyoto-fusioneering-and-amentum-announce-strategic-collaboration-to-accelerate-global-fusion-commercialisation","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/kyotofusioneering.com\/en\/news\/2026\/11\/04\/5032","title":{"rendered":"Kyoto Fusioneering and Amentum Announce Strategic Collaboration to Accelerate Global Fusion Commercialisation\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kyoto Fusioneering (KF), a world\u2011leading developer of engineering systems and technologies essential to commercial fusion power plants, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Amentum, a global leader in engineering, programme management, and advanced energy technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement establishes a strategic framework for international cooperation across the United Kingdom, Japan and the United States, strengthening both organisations\u2019 roles in advancing fusion energy commercialisation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under this agreement, KF and Amentum intend to pursue joint opportunities across major public and private fusion programmes, integrating KF\u2019s confinement-agnostic fuel cycle, breeding blanket and plasma heating systems and its experience integrating them into fusion plant designs with Amentum\u2019s established, technology-agnostic fusion engineering capability and expertise in systems engineering, plant integration, nuclear safety, digital engineering and programme delivery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, KF and Amentum will explore opportunities to combine fusion engineering and expertise with advanced digital and AI-driven engineering and programme delivery tools.
