Kyoto Fusioneering Awarded Project Under UKAEA’s LIBRTI Small Scale Experiments for Tritium Breeding to Drive Fusion Energy Innovation
Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd. (KF), a company specializing in engineering fusion energy power plants, is thrilled to announce its participation in the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s (UKAEA) £200 million Lithium Breeding Tritium Innovation (LIBRTI) programme.
Under this prestigious initiative, Kyoto Fusioneering will spearhead the TRI-PRISM (Tritium Permeation Real-Time In-Line Sensor for Monitoring) project, an advanced effort to develop a state-of-the-art sensor for real-time monitoring of tritium permeation. This ground-breaking innovation represents a pivotal advancement in the quest for sustainable fusion energy, addressing the lack of online tritium accountancy and monitoring in liquid lithium-lead-cooled blanket systems.
