Fusion Fuel Cycles Inc. (FFC), the joint venture between Kyoto Fusioneering (KF) and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL), has published two key technical papers outlining major advances in fusion fuel cycle development.
These publications detail FFCSim – a modular, dynamic simulation tool for holistic fuel cycle design – and UNITY-2, the world’s first fully-integrated testing facility for fusion fuel cycle systems. Together, they represent a critical milestone in enabling the commercial viability of fusion energy.
Both KF and CNL bring decades of expertise to the partnership and have contributed to the development of these tools and concepts. KF is proud to support FFC’s ongoing work to deliver innovative, practical solutions for fusion developers around the world.
