Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd. received the Private Enterprise Award as the most innovative company in the KPMG Japan Private Enterprise Sector at the KPMG Global Tech Innovator Competition 2022 in Japan. The event organised by KPMG Japan took place on 27 July and showcased entrepreneurs across industries who are innovating to become the tech leaders of tomorrow.
The competition day featured a total of 17 tech start-ups from Japan, that have been in business for less than five years, in sectors including AI, life sciences, health tech and fintech. Five winners (Grand Prize, Private Enterprise Award, KPMG AZSA LLC Incubation Award, Judges’ Special Award and Presentation Excellence Award) were selected among them. The Private Enterprise Award was awarded to Kyoto Fusioneering for its business model and differentiated world-leading technology in the fusion industry, and for its effort in solving global energy problems.
Kyoto Fusioneering will continue to work towards its vision of solving the global energy problem to deliver a new energy future for humankind through fusion. The company is committed to elevating public awareness of fusion and developing the industry through scientific and technological collaborations.
