Kyoto Fusioneering has been Selected for “The Startup  City Acceleration Program” Promoted by the Japan External Trade Organization

Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd – a fusion reactor technology company, based in Kyoto, Japan – has been selected for “The Startup City Acceleration Program”, an intensive overseas expansion support program promoted by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The Startup City Acceleration Program is a partnership between six world-class accelerators and JETRO to support the global expansion of startups in eight hub cities of the Cabinet Office’s “Startup Ecosystem Formation Promotion Project”*. This program will run from late October 2021 to March 2022, and will provide the participating startups with networking and matching opportunities,overseas investors and business partners.

KF was selected for the “CleanTech Course” among the six courses, operated by techstars. techstars is a US-based accelerator established in 2006, and consistently ranked as one of the top accelerators in the world. It has conducted 46 acceleration programs around the world, nurtured approximately 6,000 startups, and produced 11 unicorn companies. Through participation in this program, KF aims to establish its technology as an industry standard in Japan and overseas and to establish its brand as a deep-tech company that addresses environmental and energy issues.
