Taka Nagao, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kyoto Fusioneering, selected as one of the “100 most influential people of the year” in the “Forbes JAPAN 100” assembled by e global business magazine “Forbes JAPAN”.

From pioneers, leaders and titans to artists, innovators and icons, Forbes Japan selected 100 people of the year in Japan, focusing on those who have featured throughout 2021, such as “Start-up of the Year”, “Rising Star”, “SMALL GIANTS”, “30 UNDER 30”, and “WOMEN AWARD”. Mr. Nagao was selected as one of the “200 Superstar Entrepreneurs”, which led to this year’s selection as “Forbes JAPAN 100”.

【 Mr. Nagao’s Biography 】

Mr. Taka Nagao co-founded Kyoto Fusioneering in 2019. As its CEO, he has successfully turned science into innovation and business activities. Under his leadership, the company transitioned from a R&D laboratory research into developing state-of-the-art technologies for commercial fusion energy. KF is involved in numerous fusion new build projects around the world with supply chain partners from private sector, research institutes and government subsidies. Prior to establishing KF, he worked at Arthur D. Little Japan, where he provided strategic consulting services for new businesses. 1 Another successful business position he held was at Eneres, an energy startup, where he contributed to the company’s public listing on to the Tokyo Stock Exchange and led capital and business alliances. Mr.Taka Nagao holds an M.S in Mechanical Engineering from Kyoto University.
