Kyoto Fusioneering awarded for the Excellent Enterprise Award and the Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Award at the Rise Up Festa held by MUFG Bank
Kyoto Fusioneering Ltd. received the Excellent Enterprise Award in the category of ‘Sustaining the Global Environment for the Next Generation’. In addition, Kyoto Fusioneering was granted the special Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Award (provided by Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd., at the 9th Rise up Festa, a business support programme organized by MUFG Bank.
On the final day of judging, held on 22 July, Taka Nagao, Co-founder and CEO of Kyoto Fusioneering, held a presentation on the company’s vision and mission: to solve the world’s energy problems through fusion power generation and to realise a NetZero society by combining fusion energy with decarbonisation technologies.
This year, the awards recognised achievements in four specific categories that promise future growth: ‘Maintaining a sustainable global environment for the next generation’, ‘Achieving a healthy and wellbeing society’, ‘Business process reform through advanced technologies’ and ‘Advanced cities and lifestyles’.
Kyoto Fusioneering received the Excellent Company Award in the category of ‘Maintaining the global environment for the next generation’ and also the special Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Award (provided by Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd.）.
Kyoto Fusioneering will continue to work towards its vision of solving a global problem to deliver a new energy future for humankind by delivering fusion. Kyoto Fusioneering will continue to elevate public awareness of fusion and develop the industry through every valuable opportunity.
